Beaches

Skyros, a beautiful island, features many different beaches for all kinds of swimmers. With crystal clear waters, featuring golden sand, white pebbles, the island fully stands up to its reputation of wonderful seashores.

Big sandy beach, close to the village. Restaurants, beach bars(East)

-“Gyrismata”,big sandy beach.  Restaurant (east).

-“Kareflou”,a great spot to enjoy total privacy.  Sandy beach a bit difficult to access.(east).

-Aherounes:10 Km south west of the town, sandy beach (west).

-Pefkos: a scenic sandy beach surrounded by lush vegetation.  Restaurant.(west).

-Aspous: sandy beach, restaurant(east).

-Agios fokas: white sand and pebbled seashore.In the northwest part of the island, restaurant(west).

Atsitsa: a picturesque small village dotted with small bays and pebbled beaches, restaurant(west).

-Kyra Panagia: pebbled beach with a chapel dedicated to Virgin Mary(west).

-Kalogria: sandy beach, just before Kyra Panagia beach,restaurant(west).

-Petritsa: isolated pebbled beach in a wonderful landscape(west).

-Kalymbada: pebbled beach, a bit difficult to access(southwest).

-Agios Petros: sandy beach with emerald coloured waters, restaurant(northeast).

-Renes: pebbled beach having a difficult access.

-Theotokos: a pretty small sandy beach(south west).

-Kalamitsa: one of the biggest pebbled beaches of the island(west).

-Lino: pebbled beach, beach bar(east).

-Papa: sandy beach.(east).

-Palamari: sand and pebbles, very close to the archeological site.(northeast).

-Agalipa: sandy beach ,accessible mainly by boat(northwest).
